With a set of planets and space-themed balls, astronaut figurines and galactic coloured water beads, these kits allow children to discover, imagine, learn and create while actively engaging their senses and having loads of fun!

Sensory play is crucial to brain development and has been proven to provide many benefits for children including developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, colour recognition, counting and sorting skills, imaginative play and also a sense of calm and relaxation as they feel the soft and slippery texture of the water beads in their hands.

HOW TO USE THE WATER BEADS:

Water beads are made from a safe, non-toxic, colorfast, eco-friendly polymer which expands in water. When they are fully expanded they will feel like jelly and look translucent. It is important to teach children not to put them in their mouth, nose or ears or give them to pets. Close supervision is required at all times.

1. Take a teaspoon of dry water beads and place them in a large container.
   
2. For every teaspoon of dry water beads add about 3 cups of water to the container.
3. Allow the beads to soak and fully expand over 6-8 hours.
4. Once they've reached your desired size, simply drain the water.
5. Pour into a sensory bin or container and they're ready to explore.

The beads will retain the water for several weeks or even months but eventually the water will evaporate and the beads will shrink. Simply add more water to keep them full or leave to shrink. Once they have shrunk you can pop them in a bag to reuse again later.

WATER BEADS CAUTION INFORMATION:

Do not allow children under the age of 5 to handle or play with the UNEXPANDED beads at any time as ingestion could cause the beads to expand in their stomach.

Do not allow children under the age of 3 to handle or play with ALL water beads as the beads may present a choking hazard.

Balls: Range from 3cm to 6cm diameter.
Astronauts: 3.7cm tall.
